Honesty in Advertising
Honesty in advertising is something we see all too seldom online. You've all seen the hype, "Guaranteed to earn $3,000 a week"; "$10,000 a month in a year"; "You don't have to do anything to make money with this great program"; and countless other lines. What's really sad is the fact that many people actually believe these claims. Think about it - if the advertisers were really making that kind of money with these programs, would they really want to share with the masses? They're not that altruistic! If they were earning a great income, then I believe they'd want to keep it to themselves. Perhaps this is too cynical a view? Whatever the truth of the matter, it's a fact that there are far too many people being taken in by hype, and spending money they can ill afford. I'm not going to call it investing, as some programs do, because it isn't investing, it's gambling. There may well be products and programs out there that actually deliver what they are promising, but how is one to separate the gold from the dross? With great difficulty. The most important thing you can do, when looking for an online business, is research. Check out the program, or product. Use "Whois" to see who's behind it. Check the domain name and you may be surprised to see that it only has a couple of months to run. Some sites already have the next program lined up to go, just as soon as the sales begin to slow with the first one. Sorry, but I don't believe in honesty in advertising very much anymore - it just doesn't compute!
